Ozzy Baby
Ozzy has been adopted by a young Mother of three who told me that his feet will probably never touch the floor and that he will be passed from family member to family member. We miss him being around; he provided hours of entertainment for all of us. Just a day after he left his Mother went running into the bathroom and I waited, expecting to hear the sound of four feet sticking to the carpet chasing her there. Then I remembered that he was gone and I’d never be hearing that sound again. I was really depressed for about two days but once I decided that I would let my dogs have one more litter, I started feeling a lot better. We will definitely be keeping one of those puppies and it is likely that I will find a new home for the male. He is the most laid back dog I’ve ever seen, but a back injury apparently causes him to have some continence problems; or else he has never been properly trained not to hike his leg all over the inside of a house. It is absolutely stinking me almost out of my home. Good Luck, our Ozzy. May your days be long and healthy and may the love of your family be yours forever.

House Season Five Final Episode (#24)
I looked all over trying to find this episode since I hadn’t known about the finale, and of course that was really disappointing. But when you watch reruns all of the time, it’s hard to know which ones are re-runs and which ones are the current ones. I watched this episode, finally, and I thought that it was a lame finale. I So Hate Carpet!
When we owned our own home, it came with some very old carpeting which I immediately took up and replaced with vinyl tiles. At the time we did not realize that wood flooring costs about the same thing, depending on what type you chose anyway. Now we are back to renting and our apartment, although small, has carpeting everywhere except the kitchen and the bathrooms. I hate to have to clean the carpet but because our dogs keep having accidents we have no choice but to clean it more often. I really think that carpet should be cleaned several times a month anyway, a lot of people don’t realize how dirty a carpet really is until they clean it, and of course this carpeting collects a lot of germs that we all can live without too. Go to Build Direct and take a look at all of the different types of wood flooring and other types of flooring that you can get for your home. If you are as sick of carpet as I am, this will give you a good idea of what it will cost to have your carpeting replaced. As we have two dogs, we really need a regular floor. But even if we didn’t have the dogs, I find that regular flooring is so much easier to take care of than carpeting.

Child Suicide and School Bullies
This is one of the saddest news items that I’ve ever come across. Children should not feel so depressed that the only relief seems to be suicide. But when school officials refuse to correct situations that make school life unbearable for a child, this becomes their only escape. I can relate to this as my daughter went through the same situation. She was rumored to be performing a sexual act upon herself and people started calling her Barbie. Everywhere we went they called her that. After contacting the school on numerous occasions I finally filed a complaint on her behalf. The result of that was that students would begin to be educated on sexual harassment and discrimination in the sixth grade. That was all good but it did not remove the scars that were caused by the flack at school. They should have offered to provide home schooling for her. I did the best I could but I was no teacher. She eventually became pregnant and could no longer tolerate the looks and comments so I allowed her to drop out. Never a good idea for any child though. Don’t ignore your child when they complain to you about other children harassing them because not every child knows how to deal with these situations and may require your assistance.

We have an asthmatic child who is very allergic to many things, including dust mites, and although we cannot see them, we know they exit, especially in a home with carpeting. Some people might think that all they do is take the moisture out of the air in such places as basements, but that is not the case. Flo Through Time - Knight’s Diner Level 10
I just got through beating this level and since I haven’t found much help anywhere I decided to write down how I did it before moving on. Hopefully, this can help others get past this level as well. I only seated 3 or 4 tables at a time, beginning with the cell phone guys. Although only one shows on the screen, as soon as you sit those more cell phone guys show up. You end up with 3 or 4 groups and you can sit some knights there too, as long as you do not sit them next to a table with cell phone guys. They can sit above or below but not next to the cell phone guys. Grab drinks in both hands but stand at the podium in between, and don’t ignore handing out the snacks. Not everyone asks for a snack but it is important to pass them out as not doing so may result in not passing the level. Also put flowers on the tables before seating anyone. I stood at the podium every chance I got, like after putting in the orders but before passing out the meals. If you have two drinks in hand then you can pass these out and then get the food. It helps. That is really all that I did different from before. I tried seating at every table, waiting for the lumber guys to finish before picking up the checks, but none of that worked. I was very relieved when I saw that 19000 number come up. Good Luck to you.

Bought Your LCD TV Yet?
Looking to buy a new LCD television? If you haven’t gotten one yet, why not? We still own the old kind of tv and there isn’t a thing wrong with it, other than it is big, as all of the old ones are. My Granddaughter uses this one in her room and I hated to give it up because we have been very happy with it, the size and the quality of the images. A Good Nights Sleep
I’ve seen a lot of commercials about the sleep number bed system and have to wonder how good is this kind of bed really? It seems that mattress sets that are over and above the norm are becoming very popular. I imagine that’s because getting good sleep is important and when both husband and wife are working, taking care of the house and the kids, that this is something that is right up there at the top of the list as to what’s important and what is not. The sleep number beds come in a lot of different styles, with more features added in as the price is raised. Naturally enough, this is how the mattress companies make their money. Too bad we can’t all afford to get the top of the line in everything though. They have a 25 year limited warranty, which is longer than the 3 years I’m getting on the mattress set that I just bought my Granddaughter. Purple Plum Pie
Ingredients:
4 cups sliced fresh plums
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pastry shell TOPPING:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons cold butter or margarine
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; pour into the pastry shell. For topping, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl; cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Cover edges of crust during the last 20 minutes to prevent over-browning. Cool on a wire rack.
This recipe is a cinch when you use plums from your own Plum trees. You can buy these trees at a lot of places, but try Aaron’s Nursery online for not just plum trees, but many other types of fruit trees and other types of fruit. They guarantee that the trees will arrive in excellent condition and they even guarantee that the tree will grow. Some types of plums may produce heavier amounts so you’ll want to browse all of the different kinds to find the one you want. They also come in different colors and tastes, so be sure to shop around. It might also be a good idea to try out local plums so that you will know which taste you prefer.

Flo through Time - Knights Diner, Level 8
I had a really hard time getting through this level and even resorted to searching for a walk-through. I found nothing except one guy who said only use the right side of the moat. I tried that and had a worse score than I did on my own. The way that I managed to get through this level is as follows. Put flowers on all tables before each customer is seated. Put like customers together, IE noisy people and the joggers, who do not mind the noise. I seated them, gave them their snacks and ran to the podium. I gathered up the orders and took them to the counter, then went back to the podium. I did not pick them up until the heart was filled. Each time I did something I ran back to the podium to gather another heart. The problem here is that not only do you have a dessert but you have a snack. If you wait too long to hand them out, the customers will not take them. This is how I got through this level, and in fact did get more than the 17,000 points although not enough for expert.
Level 9 on the other hand, was extremely easy. You really don’t need a walk-through or hints for that one.
